Material :
- 2 pieces of Catfish (medium)
- 1 tablespoon of Lime Water
- 2 pieces of Tomatoes (cut into chunks)
- 100 gr of Pineapple (small pieces)
- 1 teaspoon of Salt
- 1 teaspoon of Tamarind
- ½ teaspoon of Sugar
- 500 ml of Water
- 1 stick of Onion Leaf (thinly sliced)
- 20 gr of Basil (be quoted)
- 3 tablespoons of Cooking Oil
Ground spices :
- 8 cloves of Red Onions
- 3 cloves of Garlic
- 3 pieces of Candlenut (roasted)
- 5 pieces of Curly Red Chili
- 2 pieces of Big Red Chili
- 2 pieces of Red Hot Chili
- 2 pieces of Lime Leaf
- 1 stalk of Lemongrass White (crushed)
- 1 cm of Ginger (minced)
- 1 sheet of Bay Leaf
How to make :
First step :
- Catfish is cut into three sections (may be optional). Drain.
- Sprinkle catfish with lemon water. Mix well and let stand for 15 minutes.
Step two :
- Puree red onion, garlic, nutmeg, red chili, curly red chili and red hot chilli until smooth.
- Heat oil, saute ground spices with lime leaf, bay leaf, lemongrass and ginger that has been crushed until smell good. Then enter the pieces of tomatoes, cook until done.
- Pour water and stir and cook until the spices to a boil.
- Put the piece of pineapple, tamarind, pieces of catfish, salt and sugar. Stir until the fish correctly and seasoned.
- Enter the sliced red onion and basil, cook briefly until tender then remove.
- Serve catfish boiled soup complete with sauce and marinade in the bowl to be served.
